Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has said Dele Alli is a player with potential and hopes to help the Red Devils return to form.

Since last season he has played 15 Premier League games without scoring and having 1 assist.

This season he has played in 7 league games (from 6) with only one goal scored.

Speaking about the 25-year-old Englishman, Conte said: “I remember well when we faced Tottenham [when he was in charge of Chelsea], especially when we lost after 13 wins in a row. And Dele scored two goals,

but it’s in the past. Now is the present and Dele is certainly a player with great potential. His body was strong. And he’s really good.”and that will include talented but struggling midfielder Dele Alli.

“Of course I will give him the opportunity to show his talent. At the same time, when I actually choose 11, I choose the team that I think will win the team. As with when I substituted during the game, with me I am open to all Tottenham

players. The door is open for everyone.”

“My first thought was to try to get them in the best situation to show their talents.”

“Now we start from scratch. We have a new coach I tell all my players, not only Dele, to show me that you deserve to start and I will let you start,” he said.
